No posts yet, but we'll see how this next layer of harassment and abuse unfolds.
For the record, I have zero issue with someone who has a different experience with Kim sharing that. They have just as much right to be heard as I do. However, I think it's shady as hell to use a blog name designed to promote confusion and giving the impression that they know the truth about our situation? Not okay. Using a fake google profile to conceal your identity? Not real professional.
Given the amount of our private and personal information, Kim has already shared about us I'm not sure what "truth" she'd like to reveal. Perhaps she'd like to share the real reason that she and Dr. Bakshi did not use the mortuary that the American Consulate recommended?
How tacky of her to create a blog that is so similar to yours. She is only trying to get people to click on her blog in hopes that they would find your blog. Sad.. :( Sorry you have to deal with more crap from her, how unprofessional.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly seems that way. If people who have different experiences with her want to share their experiences, obviously they have the right to do so. What would have been more appropriate would have been to simply share those experience on one of Kim's blogs or in their own. Then tag it with her name, etc.... Using a derivative of our blog name just gives the impression that she's trying to discredit us. Pathetic really.
DeleteKim Waters Hendrix and truth.. One word. Oxymoron!!
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteIt is funny (notfunny)... that every effort she mounts to refute you just makes her look worse. She needs to just own up to the failure, make amends, and move forward, putting her efforts into making better professional decisions in the future, rather than denying transgressions from the past.
ReplyDeleteI think our feelings about this would be entirely different if she or Bakshi had genuinely made an effort to understand what we were going through and actually help us in anyway. It was bad enough that the things that we were promised, like her going to India to check on our surrogate didn't happen. However, the abusive emails we got when we were trying to get records, the way that she (and her partner) have shared our personal information with other clients-- That took a bad situation and made it worse. If the only answer you have to your critics is to first try and silence them, then lie about them, then harass them I fail to see how that makes you look like a responsible, ethical professional.
DeleteI was just thinking the same thing as Stacy (and as Maria, below): Why is so much time being spent on this and not on improving?
DeleteThat's just so screwed up. Maybe she should focus her energy on providing real service to her current clients instead of to adding salt to your wounds.
ReplyDeleteWhat I find odd is how closely she is mirroring the behavior that we experienced with PH. I mean if a surrogacy professional needs to recruit clients to shame another client, how is that professional? A LOT of the things she has been doing, whether she realizes it or not are straight out of the RR playbook.
DeleteI think that's the scariest part of this, that so many players in international surrogacy fall back on those tactics in the end.
